Ambrosia's babies are ready to go home April 3.

5 Babies! Last night Ambrosia was hiding under her cage liner again and I got to peek in her bag. She has 5 babies and they are all doing very well. However, there is definately a runt. It's half the size of the rest of the babies, but still surviving. But at least that explains why she kept removing some of the babies. She had too many to take care of for a first pregnancy. At least the babies are strong enough now that they can find mom on their own or at least go back in the bag, or cry for mom.

Ambrosia had babies, however, she must be adjusting because she keeps taking the babies out of the bag. One baby doesn't look like it will make it. We'll see. I only saw 3 babies. So she might have more in the hedgie bag that I can't see.
